Fun-loving and lusty Eleanor Coxworth introduces a new Hesperides Island television network with the premier of 'Coxworth Confidential.' Hosted by vivacious Trinity Harts, her attractive Private Secretary, the new program will explore people and places around the college campus. First up is the Colosseum, the school's grand sports stadium, where Eleanor announces that Coxworth Academy will be hosting its first international sporting event, a men's half-marathon. Each runner will start the timed race at the Colosseum, continue down the Via Sacra - the central thoroughfare through Coxworth Academy, ascend Acropolis Hill to the reproduction Parthenon that Mrs. Coxworth calls 'The Cottage,' and back down the Via Sacra to the Colosseum for the finish line.
Student Andrew does not share everyone else's optimistic anticipation of the upcoming race, however, for his sweet French girlfriend, Abrial, is ailing. Poor Abrial collapses in the heat while helping to tidy the Colosseum, but she refuses to go to the Valetudinarium, the campus hospital. Andrew, with the help of an amiable coed named Jenny, attempt to nurse their classmate back to health, but her condition seems dire. Will Abrial recover and offer Andrew the carnal horseplay that he craves? Or will this be the first Coxworth Academy tale that ends without an uplifting climax?
