Creedence Clearwater revival was a very popular band of America in the late 60’s and the early 70’s. They even had been a tough competitor of the beetles with their hit releases in the 60’s and 70’s. A few popular hit songs of the band includes Bad moon rising, Lodi, Born on the Bayou, Proud Mary, Fortunate Sun, Who’ll Stop the Rain etc. The band comprised of members John Fogerty, Tom Fogerty, Stu Cook and Doug Clifford. John Forgety started dominating the band and the differences of opinions lead to the band’s breakup. John Fogerty and Tom Fogerty were brothers, Tom Fogerty was the first one to walk out of the band as he felt that his brother was taking him for granted, taking all the credit and was dominating them.
Robert Fogerty now performs as a solo musician and Tom died a few years back. The remaining members Stu Cook and Doug Clifford reunited after a few years to form Creedence Clearwater Revisited.
