In life, you’ll face crossroads. Sometimes the road you choose can change your life. Michael Florio is a young Italian Catholic, who along with his two brothers were raised with typical Italian traditions. Michael and his family faced many challenges growing up in a predominantly Irish neighborhood in Philadelphia.
Crossroads follow Michael through his high school-age years with his Irish friends being ridiculed by the Italians and into adulthood as he struggles with which road to choose. Although his hard-working, well-respected father is a role model to Michael and his brothers, he is more intrigued with the life of his uncle, his father’s favorite brother, an enforcer in the Philadelphia Mob, who happens to be Michael’s namesake.

Money, fancy cars and clothes was too much for Michael to pass on. But along with the glory, comes racketeering, racial tensions in the projects in his neighborhood, and worse, murder. Just as he’s about to cross a line from which he’ll never be free, he’s reconnected with a girl from the neighborhood, Maggie Breen who has her own demons to battle.

Together, they begin to start a new life together, far away from the streets that almost took them both down. Can they survive or will the road they left behind catch up to them again?
