Curious Critters Vol. II- Continues the audacious, comic adventures of Boggs Pumpelly and Bud Ricks, in script form; tales of two country boys living amid the hills and hollows of north Alabama. If there's a strange critter--- animal or human--- anywhere in the hills, Boggs' and Bud's path seem destined to cross with them. Were it not for the boys' solemn reassurance as to the total truth and objective reality of their encounters, Curious Critters might well be mistaken for tall tales, by the ignorant. But then, somebody once said there were more critters under the sun than were dreamed of by the Ignorant's philosophy ... For example:
Episode IV: "Workin for the Colonel"- A tale of chiggers and revenge. Bud and Boggs endure a plague of chiggers; a river of calamine lotion; getting busted, jailed and fined for moonshining, and all from trying to get in good with their boss.
Episode V: "Over the Limit & Over the Line"- Bud and Boggs are caught exceeding their limit and hunting without a licenses during duck season. The boys claim there is a perfectly logical explanation for the whole misunderstanding. The wildness of their defense drives the court to distraction.
