What is real? What can be believed?

NYPD Captain Clive Darius is a dirty cop. Sergeant Alishia Webb, a.k.a. Sky Commando, is convinced this is true—as are her allies, the metahuman-staffed branch of the Department of Homeland Security known as “Division M.” The problem: Darius claims he’s been working undercover all this time, and his claim is supported by the FBI. The other problem: DHS Special Agent Philip Henry, a metahuman with the ability to detect lies, can’t tell if Darius is lying. Webb will have to go outside the system to find someone who can shed light on how Darius is pulling off the ultimate con.

Meanwhile, Robert Thorpe makes a startling discovery while studying the Project Recall virus: some of the metahumans on his island are immune its effects. The reason for that immunity, however, raises more questions than it provides answers…
