In October of 2013, when Kobo yanked all self-published books from its catalog, indie writers joined a world-wide protest. Led by indie author Rayne Hall, this movement became known as Kobogeddon.

This anthology is the upshoot of that protest.Several indie authors got together and penned tongue-in-cheek flash fiction, aimed at confusing the Kobo censors. Some of the stories have all the naughty words replaced with "kobo" while others use satire to illuminate aspects of what happened. Since the original offending book that triggered this entire debacle was found by typing "Daddy" in a search, we felt naming the anthology "Daddy's Kobo Tales" was an appropriate kick into Kobo's ass. Or Kobo's arse, if you prefer. Or, Kobo's kobo.

What you'll find here are five flash fiction stories, none of which would be considered great literary masterpieces, because that was not our intent. It will probably take you all of thirty minutes to read them, and that's if you read slowly.

The editor and publisher is A.J.Church. However, she was so angry at Kobo's treatment that she deleted her Kobo account, and did not want to resurrect it, so Rayne Hall stepped in and uploaded this book. We're holding our breath to see whether this book will appear in Kobo's catalogue. After all, it has the word "Daddy" in the title, and it is indie.

The authors are:

A.J. Church, Jonathan Broughton, Ian Thompson, Devon McCormack, Rayne Hall.
