A disturbing tale of obsession told through letters.

Sarah Gomez, a lonely teenager in a new town, befriends the last person she expected to. The neighbor boy who hit her while backing out of his driveway.

At first, Max Burlington seems in every way to be a shy, normal kid with a crush. He has an overbearing mother and a little OCD, but some kind notes for Sarah.

Then dozens of them.

Sarah begins to realize that there are a few strange things about her new friend. The fact his mother won’t let him leave the house, even for a minute, is one. This could explain all the letters, but not why no one has seen him at school. And Max’s ability to sneak his notes into Sarah’s house, completely unseen, is just the beginning of his invasion into her life.

Sarah soon realizes her friend is not who he seems. The more letters she writes back to him, the more she fuels Max’s insanity and obsession.

This psychological horror story that will make you question the innocence of young love.
