On a clear evening, without there being a single dark cloud in the star-sprinkled sky, two sets of strange acting lightning bolts, separately, streaked down upon the desert floor, onto a rural highway in California. An EMS wagon carrying an extremely pregnant woman to a distant hospital was struck by one of the bolts. Less than an hour later, a second 'replacement' EMS wagon for the disabled one, which was carrying the same pregnant woman, was struck by a different peculiar-acting bolt of lightning. An hour or so afterwards, a third and final EMS wagon, with the uninjured pregnant woman on board, completed the journey to the distant hospital without incident. Within one month after the strange occurrences, the mother had passed away, suspiciously, and the two surgeons who had delivered her baby had vanished without a trace.
For the next three decades, a retired astrologist, Marc Brooks, who was unofficially labelled as an oddball, secretly documented the esoteric life of Raeton Creek, whose deceased mother was the pregnant female on board of both EMS wagons, which was struck by two of the four thought-to-be lightning bolts.
Eventually, Marc realized that his curiosity had led him to a zone where there weren't any laws of physics or rules or rescuers. Only time would tell if Marc's out-of-this-world discoveries would be responsible for his insanity or death even, in a town where entities of extraterrestrial aliens were few, but unpredictable ghosts were plentiful..
