As a writer, I’m prone to putting myself out there in word form. I can express, exult, and purge myself of the best and the worst of my thoughts and feelings. This is where this book comes in. I’m not much of a poetry writer, or at least that was always my perception, but apparently I am. I started writing poems as a way to quickly release my anger, frustration, and sadness. I also like writing shorts: quick little stories, essays, and reflections that tell more than a poem can, but without having to fill in all the blank spaces of a novella.
