In Demon Holiday, Torval, a demon from Hell, is forced by his superiors to take a vacation. His soul takes up residence in the body of a homeless beggar on Earth where he experiences the choices and temptations all humans take for granted. As a consequence of one such choice, he unwittingly reveals his true self to the one person who has made this unwanted holiday bearable – the lovely young social worker named Christine Anderson. Now he must earn back her trust.
Before he can act on matters of the heart, Torval becomes embroiled in an otherworldly plot to corrupt the souls of innocents. Caught up in a conspiracy that threatens his friends, and the woman he adores, Torval must decide where his loyalties lie, to the demons evoking evil or to the rule of law. He must choose his demonic family or his new friends.
