Devo stores his car in the family barn and later accidentally discovers that the car has magical powers. Devo is studying to become a sorcerer and his lack of experience in the field of magic and incantations complicates the outcome of all of his good intentions. When his friend, Julie, and his dog, Speeler, asked Devo to help with problems confronting them, Devos magical inexperience causes unexpected results.
