Eddie King is a life coach. He is attempting a diary for thirty days to see if it would be a viable tool for coaching his clients. As he starts, the love of his life, Nora, leaves him and returns to her family. Eddie is heartbroken and looking to fill the hole she left in his heart. Getting over Nora becomes a challenge, for one because this is the first in a long while that he feels something of his own, and it feels spectacular. He knows that married women should be off limits, but he can't help himself because their bond is so real. A client of his commits suicide and blames him in the suicide note. Eddie has to close his life coaching business due to the newspaper calling him a "Failed Life Coach." He now dedicates his time attempting to hold on to the love that Nora opened in his heart and figuring out why his client committed suicide. A coffee shop adversary, a motorcycle shop screwing with him, two punk kids who won't stop harassing him, a sex-fiend client, and Officer Dave of the local police department are all players in this journey to fill a whole in his heart.
