In the spirit of the misfit buddy-buddy action adventure, Dinner With Lucifer chronicles the efforts of archangel Michael and Lucifer to help humanity ward off the end times. The story begins during dinner at a fashionable New York restaurant. During dinner Michael explains his fear that the end is near and due to the nature of modern society many souls will be lost. During the meal, Michael demonstrates the basis for his concern by taking Lucifer on revealing excursions. Eventually, Lucifer sees the real problem ... in the modern world he and Michael are no longer relevant. Michael and Lucifer set aside their eternal battle, a truce is reached, and they team up to help humanity avoid triggering the end times ... or at a minimum use the remaining time to lead as many as possible back to the age old choice between good and evil. Failure means the end of the human race ... and for many a fate worse then hell. Michael enlists waiters, Claude and Shannon, to start a nondenominational movement to lead lost souls back to the path. Lucifer, as one would expect, takes a darker more flamboyant tack to open the eyes of humanity. As it turns out, the issue is much more complex and, the end is really the beginning. Warning: Dark story lines and religious manipulations some readers may find objectionable.
