This is a book primarily about the reality of dispute resolution (as I've experienced it), in its many forms, covering more areas and in a more practical way than other books.  It's a personal, informal work, offering detailed information from case experiences, debates on models and ethics, and useful templates.  It's ideal for new practitioners, but of interest to all.

Daryl Landau has practiced in family business, business partnerships, workplace, family, commercial, community and other areas of disputes or conflict prevention.  He is a mediator, coach, investigator and general conflict management consultant.  His company is called Common Ground, based in Toronto.  He trains other conflict managers in courses with Cooperative Solutions.  He has a master's degree in conflict resolution and is an Accredited Family Mediator.
