When Charlotte absentmindedly walks into the wrong meeting room, she is too embarrassed to leave. “Oh, come on, sweetie. I found your name and number in Greg’s secret hideaway, an old wallet that he thinks he is keeping hidden from me.”
“It’s probably just in case of emergencies.” Charlotte had no idea what else to say. Why did Greg have her number?
“Look, honey, I know how this works. He cheated on his first wife with me and now he is cheating on me with you. Now, do you get it?”
Charlotte was stunned. Had Greg lied to her?
