It seems that everywhere you look there is a sense of a valueless ideology that has taken over the minds of man-kind, throughout society. Just watch the programming on television, the advertisements, the main stream media, the clothing that people choose to wear or not wear, in some cases, the music they engross themselves with, the electronic addiction, the reality abased culture, the “if it feels good do it” stalwarts (definition, by outstanding strength and vigor of body, mind, or spirit), the nomenclature or labeling that has invaded society, the so called leaders and their reed like spines and you will witness the mental illness known as liberalism. I know many are wondering the same thing. Ask this question to your friends, family, teachers, preachers, elected officials, “what has become of my country, my countrymen?” and you will be met with an empty stare. However ask someone who has not had the same freedoms, which we have come to take for granted and see what they say. If they came from a place where there is no room for a double standard (definition; set of principles that applies differently and usually more rigorously to one group of people or circumstances than to another) because their very individual existence was at stake, very quickly they will tout how superior their homeland, their people, their nation or their culture is to that of America. While there might not be agreement as to why we or they feel this way it’s quite possible that they recognize that we are a nation adrift. Our culture is sinking and we are taking on water so fast there might not be a way to right the ship. Perhaps in their arrogance they are actually trying to wake us up? Could it be that deep down we all know that there is something just not right in the evolution of humanity? “We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed.” Corinthians 4:8-9 NKJV
