President Brown controls four assassins, directs their missions to sway the world into chaos that suits his desires and agenda to control the United States through a coup d'etat. A major terrorist disaster in the U.S. was secretly planned and carried out through the president. He appears to respond in an immediate and violent manner, removing the alleged terrorists, and endearing him to the nation, insuring him a second term in office. As his time winds down, it becomes necessary to get rid of his assassins, and a scientist/psychologist verbose in the use of mind altering conditioning techniques monitored with fMRI, places the assassins into new lives with ho memory of their past. After a little over a year passes, something brings them out of their dormancy, they regain their memories, and all of the assassins set out to a lake in Idaho to meet again. But someone wants them dead now, their handler, Grouse, who fears they will target him for death. Duggin, Artie, Mark and Lorne fight the odds to remain alive, and somehow learn why they were awakened, while Grouse sends the A-team to destroy them. This story never slows down, so prepare to speed read it, and start early in the day so you can sleep at night.
