“These poems are both Scriptural and personal, born of the carpenter’s own faith journey. To the reader, they feel real and immediate. The rhythms of the poetry make it particularly suitable for reading aloud. Even on a first reading, I found myself marking a selection for a Good Friday worship service, and others for the celebration of Easter and for services of communion. Easter lies at the heart of Christianity. This poetry will be read and reread throughout the year.
Easter with the Carpenter will be a valued addition to both personal and church libraries.”
–Myrna Darling, Educator
“God has given Earl Silver a special talent for writing descriptive poems with a message. As I read his book I saw, I heard, I felt, I thought. What was the result? I have the true meaning of Easter: Jesus is our Risen Saviour.
