This book is about my moments of self-doubt, clarity, joy, and sadness. It is about the times when I was a caregiver for an aging parent, a student, a wife, and a full-time employee. Some of the days were dark, and I thought I would never again see the light. Some of the days carried so much inspiration and joy that I thought my heart would explode. I have cried many tears and laughed until my face hurt. I have gone on this journey as we all dowith a bit of stubbornness and a whole lot of self-doubt.

I would like to say that I have been triumphant in all my ventures, but the truth is many of them have been failures. The most important thing I have learned is that all of them have helped me to grow. The mistakes I made are now memories etched in the foundation of my life. Each one means something and has made me the person I am today. I was never a writer until now. I never dabbled in poetry and had no inclination to keep a journal, but after a few words of encouragement, so began my journey.
