What Are The Energy Vampires And How to Spot Them?
Energy vampires, as a straightforward definition, are people who, with or without their knowledge, normally cause energy-drain in other people. Energy vampires suck out other people’s personal energy in any form such as mood, perspective, motivation, or even physical and spiritual energy. They cause mental and emotional stress. They cause an overall sense of weakness in different ways, even by their mere presence. They are oftentimes termed as psychic vampires or emotional vampires for they inject negative psychological effects on their victims. They are also known as difficult people because they are the types who are very difficult to handle.
Their “victims” are oftentimes seen as depressed and weakened; they become unmotivated to do anything, and sometimes, in a worst case scenario, victims become energy vampires.
Most of these energy vampires may have been victims themselves. They are people who have been exposed to venomous attacks of one or more energy vampires. Their coping mechanisms failed, and they just found themselves attacking other people. They become unhappy, hurt and insecure individuals, and the only way for them to find satisfaction is to get even.
People who have had encounters with energy vampires had been exposed to threats for they could be vulnerable victims. Yes, energy vampires are a threat! They are like snakes ready to strike against vulnerable and unprotected individuals. And worst is, energy vampires are not easy to spot. They walk, talk, eat, and live like normal people do, and they can be anywhere – on the road, in social media, at the office, in school, and even at home. The threat they pose is not minor. They can gravely affect a person’s life in ways one can’t imagine. And even before a person discovers, he may have already become a struggling victim.
Spotting an energy vampire can minimize one’s exposure to risks and threats. Knowing these people and what vibes they bring in can save a business, a relationship, a marriage, or one’s sanity.
Here is a checklist to consider: Is he always extremely suspicious with just about anything? Is he always thinking that he may be harmed, deceived or exploited? Does he constantly put the blame to somebody but himself when a problem arises? Is he always unhappy about the success of anyone, always criticizing it? Does he always influence others with his low self-esteem? Does he always make fun of other people, and show that he enjoys it? Does he always complain and whine over minor problems? Does he get angry so easily, even with just minor causes?
