Dr. Reavis is a long time insurance industry advocate and his experience includes both vocational and academic activities. He has taught insurance courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level at several universities and served as Executive Director of the Insurance School of Chicago. Professor Reavis has, supplementing his academic degrees, the professional designations of CLU, CPCU, ARM and AIC. As an insurance litigation consultant Dr. Reavis has worked on cases throughout the United States in state and federal courts. In addition to "Essentials of Life Insurance" his insurance publications are numerous and cover life, health, property, casualty insurance as well as risk management. His recent insurance book "Insurance: Concepts & Coverage" is the first new insurance manuscript published as an e-book.
