After I agreed to follow Eve’s instructions exactly, she stepped away and ordered me to remove my shirt. I did so and tossed it to the padded floor. She smiled, said, “Good boy!” and pointed. “Now lie on your back with your head on that small circle and your feet toward the door.” I looked where she pointed and immediately realized she planned to strap me to the floor. The small circle wasn’t alone. There was a strap for my neck, one for each wrist and one for each ankle. When I didn’t comply, she raised her voice and gave the order again. “Do it now, David, don’t make me wait.”
