Peter Merry interviewed by Psychiatrist Dr Nicholas Beecroft. Peter is an evolutionary leader who operates at the evolutionary edge of our civilization. He describes himself as a the human being, author, speaker, global activist, leader, consultant, trainer, synnervator, human ecologist, father, folk singer, theatre director, rugby trainer, husband and energy worker. He spent many years facilitating a leading change in a variety of organizations including traditional corporates and leading-edge transnational organizations. He has been pioneering the practical application of energetics and wisdom including the new technique of systemic energy tuning. In this interview Peter says that his big picture vision for the state that were in, the painful death of an old civilization, and the parallel emergence of a new one. He believes that we are best off if we put our energy fully into the creation and experimental emergence of this new civilization. There is no guarantee of a positive outcome but there are enough signs of evolutionary change to be optimistic.
Peter is Executive Vice-President of Ubiquity University Undergraduate Programs, the founder of the Center for Human Emergence, Netherlands, formed in 2005 to facilitate the Netherlands through the current transition and learn for the world, and a Synnervator in CHE Synnervate. He is Director of Wisdom University in Europe; the founder and Director of the Hague Center for Global Governance, Innovation and Emergence, founded in 2008 to support, learn about and promote innovative integral approaches to the global challenges that humanity faces today; a partner at Engage!, a Fellow of the Center for Human Ecology in the UK where he did his MSc with a thesis on the future of work and economics; As well as working on a PhD at Wisdom University, he is completing his final year (2012) of vocational training in ECOtherapy.
His books are: Evolutionary Leadership andThe Pain and the Promise.
