Hey, this is Roselyn... Ugh. Why Do I do that? I hate how I always start these entries. I mean seriously; this is my journal. I'm easily two hundred pages in. It's not like this is something new.
Anyway, I'm stalling. This is actually harder to write than I thought it would be. I haven't even told my girls yet. I mean, how am I going to tell them I've fallen for one of the few people here who could kill me? One of the few people I promised my parents I would avoid at all costs.
How do I tell Evony that all I can think about is the son of the woman responsible for nearly causing her race to become extinct? How do I tell LIra, whose prophecies are taken with high regard by the Realm Keepers, that I'm ignoring her advice and meeting him tonight?
I know it's wrong. I know I can literally have anyone else in this school, but I can't get him out of my mind.
Something bigger is at play here.
How I feel isn't natural; there's no way.
So tonight, I'm going to meet him. Tonight, I will make Thayer tell me what the hell is going on.
