If the cops and shrinks would just leave him alone, he could slip into something more comfortable – like death. The county jail doctors diagnose him as obsessive/compulsive, paranoid, and schizophrenic. Regardless, Galen knows that he is merely orderly, cautious, and gifted in a way that others could never understand.
