Feminist Bloggers is a collection of twenty feminist essays by eight authors, covering a broad range of topics from feminism as a political label, to rape culture, to various perspectives on education. This volume also includes several pieces about how marketing addresses women and how mass media represent them. Every essay was originally published as part of a blog series hoping to generate a discussion about the topic at hand.
David B. Cox II is a librarian, a blogger, a husband, and a soon-to-be father. He lives in Juneau, Alaska where he enjoys gaming, writing, and most things geeky. He and his wife run the blog Comparative Geeks.
Diana J. Gordon is a nerd, a bookworm, a feminist, a mother, a worrier, a social media junkie, and an entrepreneur. Gene'O is a higher education professional, blogger, and social media organizer from the Southern U.S.A. His passions include speculative fiction, amateur photography, and the study of social movements. He is the founder and administrator of the blog Sourcerer and tweets @Sourcererblog.
Gretchen Kelly blogs at Drifting Through My Open Mind where she writes about anything that pops into her head. From life lessons to burning issues that need to be discussed to parenting conundrums. The topics she is most passionate about are feminism, race, and any issues that pertain to social justice, fairness and equality.
