FIBROMYALGIA: Road to Recovery is presented in a comprehensive series of five volumes covering everything from diagnosis, through pain management toward recovery. Author Elizabeth Mcsweeney suffered from the debilitating effects of fibromyalgia's pain and fatigue for seven years before discovering her own path. Here she outline the seven healing prinicples which underpinned her healing journey and offers a three day (first steps toward recovery) plan. Elizabeth sais:

"I don't have a magic wand, I'm not saying you can 'cure yourself' of fibromyalgia in just three days. But I do beleive that because I managed to find a path to recovery, so can you. I beleive the false meme that 'fibromyalgia is for life' causes uneccessary suffering, and my intention is to offer hope and support to anyone taking their own first steps towards recovery".

This volume, equivelant of 82 x A4 pages, contains two crucial chapters and an appendix jammed full of self help worksheets :

CHAPTER FIFTEEN: Seven Healing Principles

1. the effects of trauma on body, mind and psyche

2. the pain/insomnia cycle;

3. cellular acidification explained;

4. pain alleviation through Body Tapping (FFT Protocol) techniques;

5. principles of Homeopathy

6. the Healing Properties of Water, explained

7. the Buddhist Principle of Esho Funi

CHAPTER SIXTEEN: A three-day (first steps to your) ‘Road to Recovery’ Plan

APPENDIXES: Self- Assessment Questionnaire; Alkaline Menu suggestions; FFT - Fibro Free (rubbing)Technique; Homeopathy Information Sheet; ‘Unrecognised Losses Worksheets; Stretching Worksheet.
