SUBTITLE: "A General Look at Common Health Disorders"
In this eBook I address fifteen common health conditions, affecting millions of Americans and many others worldwide. While this resource is not intended to replace diagnosis and treatment by medical professionals, it does provide a source of general information on these commonly experienced health disorders.
For some readers, it may help them to identify an illness they suspect they may be suffering from (a definitive diagnosis must come through a medical professional).
Patients with medical health disorders, desire an informative overview of diseases that are affecting them and a general idea regarding the diagnosis and treatments that are administered for them. It was my intention through this eBook, to provide such an information resource in regard to common health disorders that often have lifelong effects.
These are the health disorders addressed in the chapters (the 14th chapter addresses two syndromes):
CHAPTER ONE: The Diagnosis and Treatment of Celiac Disease
CHAPTER TWO: Diagnosing and Treating Sjogren's Syndrome
CHAPTER THREE: Diagnosing and Treating Pernicious Anemia
CHAPTER FOUR: Acid Reflux and Lung Disorders
CHAPTER FIVE: Rheumatoid Arthritis Basic Facts
CHAPTER SIX: Metabolic Syndrome Basic Facts
CHAPTER SEVEN: Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Basic Facts
CHAPTER EIGHT: Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease and NASH
CHAPTER NINE: Thyroid Autoimmunity
CHAPTER TEN: Osteoarthritis
CHAPTER ELEVEN: Adrenal Insufficiency Basic Facts
CHAPTER TWELVE: A Quick Look at Adrenal Fatigue
CHAPTER THIRTEEN: Mitral Valve Prolapse the Common Heart Murmur
CHAPTER FOURTEEN: CFS and Fibromyalgia – The Syndromes of Fatigue and Muscle Pain
These illnesses have symptoms in-common with others that can manifest similarly and so a general understanding of them can help to distinguish them from other health disorders. It is my hope that the information contained within the chapters, is both informative and interesting for the reader. At the same time, it should be understood that proper diagnosis and treatment for any disorder affecting one’s health, should be obtained through a licensed medical professional.
