Book 1 is a story of a computer nerd who gets involved with dangerous gangsters and comes into a large sum of money. In Book 2 A young man returns from World War I after being gassed in a trench in France. He moves to Arizona where he can breathe and gets better. In Book 3 a family travels to Colorado in search of gold. The daughter falls in love with the wagon master who turns out to have a reputation as a gunfighter. They eventually strike it rich but the gunfighter gets in trouble with a sheriff and narrowly escapes a hanging by a rowdy posse. In Book 4 “Finding Billy Boy”, a young boy runs away and has an adventure on the Appellation Trail. Book 5 “Gangsters and Mountain Lions”. A man in the witness program is found and hides out again in the Canadian North West with Native Americans and makes pets of mountain lions. Book 6 “Princess”. Princess meets a very strange alien and falls in love. He likes to gamble and she likes country music. Book 7 "His Honor the Mayor of Hillsboro."
