Katie Chase is vice president of marketing for an upscale brokerage firm. She has a nice apartment in the city, a nice car, and a twin sister whom she loves dearly. At first glance her life seems perfect, but in her heart, Katie misses one thing: love. The problem is, she's a "chubby girl". No matter how much she goes to the gym, no matter how much she diets, she seems to be stuck with the genetic curse she inherited from her mother. After all, what guy would want to love a chubby girl? None of them in her experience…at least, that's what she believes until she meets the artist hired to paint a mural on the wall of the gym where she works out. Sparks fly, but Katie knows that getting her hopes up is a one way ticket to heartbreak.
Cass Chase is Katie's twin sister. Like Katie, Cass inherited the chubby gene from their mother. Unlike Katie, Cass has always been comfortable in her body. She's okay with her fuller figure and doesn't let it get her down. Happy or not, though, she's streetwise and she knows that guys fall into categories when it comes to chubby girls, and none of them are in it for the long haul. Cass is always careful…but inside she yearns to let her guard down and trust somebody. She's lonely and wary, and when a chance meeting in the park sends her off on a date with a man who says he's an architect, she figures it'll just be another one night stand.
What neither sister knows, though, is that when they meet for their weekly Monday lunch, they're both in for a nasty surprise….
This story contains graphic and explicit depictions of hot, steamy sex and is not intended for minors -- or the faint of heart!
"First Date" is approximately 16,500 words (45 pages).
