Incarnation of divinity, a mystic, a saint, the founder of Sikhism, Shri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji was born on 13th of April, 1469, at Rai-Bhai-di, Talwandi (Now in Pakistan). It is situated now in Shekhupar District of Pakistan.

It is believed that his contemplative mind and rational thinking were a gift to him from God. It was quite surprising for his parents and relatives that only at the age of seven he learnt Hindi and Sanskrit languages.
