When nature calls, disaster sometimes answers. Flush This Book: True Tales of Bodily Malfunctions is a collection of funny, gross and totally true stories about poop mishaps and messes. A portion of the proceeds from sales of this ebook benefit the World Toilet Organization. Find out about their important work improving sanitation in some of the world’s most impoverished nations at www.worldtoilet.org This is a book for the non-squeamish among us who wished there was an irreverent version of Everybody Poops written for adults. We collected the raw material for these stories from family, friends and our blog readers. Thank you to everyone who shared their tales of woe and let us present them in a humorous light. After all, poop is the lowest common denominator of human existence—and we think it’s hilarious. Some of the embarrassing and humorous tales included in the book: “Naptime Horror” - A daycare worker discovers that one of her two-year-old charges has unloaded her diaper and used its contents as impromptu finger paint. Her canvas? The floor, herself, anyone around her. “Fold and Wipe” - A thirteen-year-old is blamed for a septic tank disaster that leaves a bathroom overrun with raw sewage, grandparents spewing expletives and a little sister literally sliding through the shit. “The Pilot Has Turned on the Fasten Seatbelt Sign” - After evading Montezuma’s revenge for sixty days in rural Ecuador, a traveler ends up sick, with no Imodium and no relief during an international flight back to America. ‘Postpartum Decompression’ - A new mother recovering from a c-section struggles to pass that first, frightening turd with “9” and “1” pre-dialed.
