A story of a boy growing up with his grandparents in Halifax Nova Scotia during the second World War. His parents were stationed in Argentia, Newfoundland, living conditions warranted he would best stay in Halifax until the end of the war. Sports with the neighbour guys and fantizing about girls was his entertainment. His priorities changed when a family moved three doors away, bringing two boys and a good looking sister, slightly older but in a developmental stage much to his delight. His first real job as a hotel parking garage attendent was to be his demise with Angie. He innocently became involved with pimps and their 'ladies' by taking phone messages and relaying them at $5.00 each. He soon met Sherry under strange circumstances, married and had a son. He left the hotel, became a mechanic for a G.M. dealership and they bought a fix-r-upper house. They formed a successful band, "Sherry Wine" and with a partner launched a successful garage "Auto Tech". Boating was also a passion.
