As Google and other tech companies scramble to make remotely-driven vehicles an ever more realistic possibility, I began to wonder what would happen to society after this transition. If computers and software programs are driving tractors, trains, cars and trucks, then millions of human drivers would be out of work. Considering today’s technology, restricted primarily to the military, to remote operate flying vehicles, it seemed to me that the intermediary solution for computer-driven ground vehicles would be for humans to remote drive vehicles using computer-aided programs and collision detection software. I was curious what that world would look like, as computer-driven vehicles become more reliable and proficient and humans increasingly become irrelevant, and FOUR SCREENS is my answer
