Alternate worlds are no longer a theory as teenager, Callie Matthews, slips out of her reality and into another. It is by accident of course, but her best friend Beth has been pulled into this adventure along with her. If she had not played with her aunt’s pendant, she would not be in this mess. However, messes are what Callie is excellent at getting herself into. Her only goal now is to find a way home without getting herself or her best friend killed in the process.

Callie’s world is simple—high school, boys, clubs, and getting into trouble for acting without thinking. Things get complicated when she accidentally travels into parallel worlds which have different sets of rules and problems. The only goal she can focus on right now is getting Beth back to their original home safely, but this is a problem while facing impossible odds like electromagnetic bombs disabling all electronics, including cars, the internet and cell phones. Josh, a handsome guide, will help improve their chances of survival as he introduces them to his world while making a dangerous and enlightening trek to Savannah, Georgia. It is there they hope to find more information about the ancient traveling pendant which started this chaos in her life.

On her journey to find the truth, she learns of a new race called the Amicians who have colonized a portion of Earth in the area which we now call the Bermuda Triangle. When Callie’s life becomes intertwined with these peaceful beings, she discovers finding a way back to her dimension is going to more difficult than she realizes. The events occurring in her life recently may not have been an accident, and there may be a greater purpose for her than she can ever imagine.

Falling in love has never been an issue with Callie—until now. Taking a risk and falling for someone who lives in an alternate world is not an option. So why is it so difficult for Callie to sort out her priorities and put them in a logical and rational order? Maybe because love is not logical. Callie knows with complete certainty she can’t have a relationship or even think about having one…until she begins following her heart and not her mind. She should focus on Beth and herself, but there are many more things entering the picture and she can’t ignore them.

When her life becomes intertwined with handsome FreeFall Agent Dylan Brown, she begins uncovering secrets from her past she didn’t even know existed. Who is she really, and why can she do the things other people can’t? The center of her life is no longer boys, beaches, and parties, but riddles, betrayal, and survival. Fate has plans for Callie whether she’s ready for them or not because she’s got to uncover the secrets about her mysterious past to help save the future.

The sequel to this novel is called FreeFall—The Unexpected and is available now at Amazon.com in paperback or in an electronic version for you to enjoy.
