Motivating him along the way, the goal of owning his own business helps him persevere under sometimes inhumane circumstances.
When these two individuals cross each other’s paths, they form a relationship that begins as fool’s gold. However, after many transitional years and continual help from the “Wonderful Counselor” in Isaiah 9:6, the relationship was further refined to silver and, eventually, into genuine gold. The process was not easy, but Fred and Corene’s nearly 50 years of experience has reinforced their belief that marriage can survive in today’s changing times and shine as an example of how God loves us.
