To the love of my life, my wife Sally Ann
Loves Redemption
My life was like a parched and arid plain
Shriveling my soul to a tiny grain
I was always very much alone
With none that I could call my own
When I could no longer bear the strain
Your love came to me like a gentle rain
As your love I came to know
The tiny grain began to grow
As love began to ease the pain
I knew that I had much to gain
My soul expanded to full measure
And my life was filled with pleasure
You became the center of my life
And I asked you to be my wife
Now many years have passed
So I know our love will last
Life is not as it once seemed
Because your love my soul redeemed
