Full Circle is a beautiful novel centered around a family struggling with their own demons and find a way of making the best out of the worst possible situation.
Lilly Williams is excited to see her parents after her recent graduation from University of Alabama. She is now a licensed veterinary and has just accepted the most sought after position working with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. This move to Houston will bring her closer to her estranged sister and brother-in-law.
Lilly believes that the age gap is what has caused her sister and her to be estranged but what she discovers is that her sister is killing herself slowly trying to conceive a child. Her brother-in-law, Cole, is beside him unsure what to do to help his wife.
This is a different picture that she had of her sister and her husband. She always thought her sister was Miss Perfect and her brother-in-law, the absentee husband, too busy running his practice to get to know the family. However, almost immediately upon arriving in Houston, she see’s that her picture is very distorted. Instead she finds Cole doing everything he can to bridge the distance between him and his wife, Sara.
After Sara discovers that she can no longer bear children, she asks the unthinkable of her young twenty-five year old sister, to carry her child.
How could Lilly carry a child, when she was just starting her life, with a new job, and leaving her past behind her?
When she makes her decision, she had no way of knowing how it would impact her forever or that Cole would become her best friend and only confident.
