In this installment of Nick and Tammy's story, the two share an intimate morning on the boat. They talk about the party and share a breakfast with Caroline, Jeffrey, Wanda and the other guests who stayed the night. Suzanne makes another appearance trying to humiliate Tammy.

Excerpt:

The waves rocked Tammy back to sleep as Nick snuck out of bed. A melody was rattling around in his head and he couldn’t sleep. Onto the deck he could see the sky in all its glory. As the sun rose, it looked like a crayon box had been spilled in the clouds and the heat of the rising sun was melting them all. Streaks of color ran together across the sky. He sat and watched it shift and change trying to focus on his breathing and meditate. But he couldn’t. Instead, he kept playing the events of the night before over and over again in his mind. ‘Did I go too far?’ he wondered. Remembering his first studies in meditation, he tried to let the thoughts slip by like frames of film. But the images of how he’d behaved and what they had all done were too intense for him to let them go.

Frustrated, he got up and walked away. He picked up his phone and sang the melody that had come to him into it. Satisfied with what he’d done, he quickly added a second and third part. In a few minutes time, he had a quick sketch finished. He saved it as “4T” and closed it.

Nick heard Tammy moving around below deck and decided to make them both a cup a tea. As he worked, her arms slipped around him from behind. She had rolled the sleeves of his dress shirt up to keep them out of her way but one came loose and hung in her way as she reached to take the cup from his hands. He saw her breasts shift and dance under the shirt, full and unrestrained. When she crawled up in his lap, the shirttail caught on the arm of his chair and exposed her tight little butt. She wiggled into a comfortable position in his lap. Her bright smile and beautiful eyes were enough to give the sunrise outside a run for his attention.

“What are you doing up so early?” she asked.

“Habit,” he said. “I like to work in the morning before the day gets busy. My mind is fresh and there are fewer interruptions this time of day.”

“I’m sure there are. Anyone sane is still asleep.”
