How often do you imagine yourself as a person who achieved perfection? Have you formed in your mind an image of yourself, healthy and beautiful, professionally developed, having wonderful relations with close people and the surrounding world?

To be honest, I haven’t heard a better answer to the question "How to motivate yourself?" than the answer (yes, a bit vulgar): “No way man, stay in the whole mess of trouble!"

And, people who are passionate by nature, never think of motivation. Most of them already work a lot because the job is the most sensible way of investing their vibrant energy. And what about those who were not born passionate? Or those who have dreams but don’t have enough power to achieve their goals?

Be realistic in your desires (you’ll scarcely manage to win the Olympics if you started engaging in sports in your 40ies), but dream bravely, imagining your path to the goal and perfection in the brightest colors. As Brian Tracy says,

"All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose."

Have you ever had periods, when everything went swimmingly? When you become inspired and the whole Universe seemed to help you? Like you were picked up by a caring, tender wave flow, which carried you to the desired results? People came ready to solve your problems, and obstacles stayed just for a while and then disappeared step by step without any help... is such an experience familiar to you?

And maybe you’ve experienced this: you set a goal, then start desperately (and sometimes even painfully) move to it... a great spurt, then the motivation and energy loss. But you pull yourself together, make another spurt, and another, and another, until you finally reach the desired goal, and then... you just fall from the enormous fatigue and recover for a long, very long time.
