The golden ticket Zach had eagerly snatched from the hands of a mad man slowly crumbled.

As chief A&R scout for New Star Records, signing bands, booking recording sessions and crashing music industry shindigs, whilst avoiding the bribes from music managers and sexual advances from singers looking for record deals, Zach now found himself at The Toucan Public House in London’s Soho, staring at his life on a screen of an old jukebox.

A mysterious old man appeared, smiling, willing him on, silently urging Zach to hit the button

The Wurlitzer illuminated in glorious Technicolor the soundtrack to his life. The smiling face of his tyrannical boss, Ronny Lava stared up at him, laughing maniacally. Evelyn, the love of his life, was slowly fading away. His future, just like the glory and riches, international travel and all the sex, drugs and rock and roll he was promised was slowly turning to dust.

There was no yellow brick road leading him to never-never land. All Zach could see was a life of darkness. New Star Records was no more.

The room illuminated, capturing Zach in a trance - memories of summers past came flooding back as Zach’s mind filled with all the music he had ever heard. He pressed play, the machine began to whirr - God’s Jukebox had come to life…

Was Zach ready for his second chance?
