Sue is an ordinary Christian mother who finds herself passing through the dark and devastating storms of baby bereavement twice in a single year. Through the events that follow and her encounters with the God of miracles, she eventually reaches a place of acceptance and discovers true peace, hope and finally joy.
Sue's story will bring hope and encouragement to others affected by the loss of a baby or raising a child with special needs.

"In all good stories, the main characters have to go through awful trials to find two things: firstly, the will to overcome and secondly, keeping their vision on the future prize. In this story you will find three heroes who face awful trials yet find the will and the vision with grace.
Sue has written with heart-rending reality of the pain, the hope, the disappointments and the faith that keeps enduring that she and her husband Phil faced. This story will make you cry but it will also help you to hope, to pray, to press on to a better day in whatever trial you face.
But I said three heroes. The third is Jesus, their Lord and Saviour. He is the centre of their lives and it was He who kept them and ultimately blessed them. It is the suffering of Jesus that inspired them; it will inspire you.
For myself, I admire this lovely couple and I am so pleased they wrote this story, their story. I warn you that you will weep. But you will also rejoice.
A good story. A true story. An eternal story."

"We all have hopes and aspirations in our life, but none so important as those we have for our children. From the first cry our lives are changed forever. This book is about Phil and Sue, their children and the God of miracles.
We have known Phil from a child and Sue almost as long as they have been together. They are a quiet, reserved, hardworking, uncomplicated couple who love Jesus. They were part of our church family for many years and also our own family, our four children and us.
When it was time for them to start their own family, we were thrilled and shared in their preparations for family life. We felt they would be 'good' parents, with Christian values and an abundance of love.
This book is the story of the outworking of all that they are as a couple, a family and their complete trust in the Living God. We count it a privilege to have been part of this testimony and their lives."
