Goddess (the First Betrayal) the fourth volume of the Nexus: The Living Prophet of the House of All Faith, Thomas Lewis, has Transcended having defeated the Third and Greatest of All Satans. Two weeks after his passing, his telepathic, telekinetic niece, Gemma Lewis, is left to mourn his death, that of her sister, Tamsin, and that of her guardian angel, Zhara, who passes onto her the daunting mantle of Ormuzd.
