Gulliver's Travels or the long title: Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World. In Four Parts By Lemuel Gulliver, First a Surgeon, and then a Captain of Several Ships is a novel written by Anglo-Irish satirist, essayist and writer Jonathan Swift. This is a satire on human nature as well as a parody of the travellers tales. It is regarded as a classic of English literature and is the best known full-length work of Swift. There are four parts of the book: A Voyage to Lilliput; A Voyage to Brobdingnag; A Voyage to Laputa, Balnibarbi, Luggnagg, Glubbdubdrib, and Japan; A Voyage to the Country of the Houyhnhnms. In the first part of the book reader makes аun of the absurd self-importance of Lilliputians, in the second part in the land of giants the point of view changes and it appears that our race is to make fun at. In the third part self-conceit of human arrogance is being ridiculed. In the fourth part naughty creatures called Yahoos resemble concentrate of a primordial human nature.
