Excerpt:

"We brought some wine." Daniel placed two bottles on the table. "Shall I pour us some?" He didn't wait for her answer and walked to the kitchen to fetch the glasses. Jane smiled at Paul again, nervously.

"So Paul," she began, "you're a friend of Daniel's?"

"Yes, we've known each other for a while. We met last year at university, had some classes together."

"Uh-huh..." Jane glanced back at Daniel who had emerged from the kitchen holding three wine glasses and a corkscrew. He placed them on the table.

"Yeah we've been friends for a while," he said, turning the screw carefully. "I think you two actually have quite a few things in common."

"Really..."

"Yes." The bottle popped open and Daniel poured the wine into the glasses. They drank.

Two hours passed. The wine was finished, and they were buzzed. The conversation flowed freely; Daniel was right - Jane and Paul got along well. The night hadn't matched Jane's expectations, but it was fine. She was enjoying it.

"You look fucking stunning, by the way," Daniel suddenly said. "I forgot to mention it earlier, sorry."

"Thanks," Jane laughed. He looked her over and she recognized a hint of lust in his eyes. He wanted her. She wished she could give herself to him.

Daniel got up and walked over to her, then bent down and kissed her. She kissed back, her hands caressing his face gently, then pulled away.

"We've got company, remember?" she chuckled and glanced at Paul apologetically.

"I remember," Daniel said, casually. He began unbuttoning his shirt and Jane looked at him, flustered.

"Daniel..."

"Just watch," he said and turned to face Paul, who had gotten up. Jane's nervousness grew tenfold when she watched Paul take his shirt off. She gasped.

"What are you doing?" she mumbled.

"Don't worry," Daniel said calmly. He and Paul approached each other, their naked chests mere inches apart. They leaned in, and kissed. Jane gasped, again, as they began to unzip each other's trousers, and they quickly dropped to the floor, followed by their shorts.
