Brandt Geertzeb, born September 1970, is a Dutch-American poet.

Growing up as a child in bore-torn suburbs shaped much of his world-view. In an interview with friends he said, "Being one of the millions of spiritless, apathetic persons made an ironic impression on me. I had no story to tell and others around me didn't either. I'm still astonished by all the nullity and lacunae I witnessed."

His poems are characterized by a clipped, minimalist cadence that often reveal the surreal peculiarity of everyday events.

Geertzeb immigrated to Atlanta with his family in late 1973, but his essential nature walks the shores of Bow Lake in Strafford, New Hampshire.
