Ever been hit in the head so hard that it left a metal taste in your mouth?

That’s what happens every time I get punched or hit in the head in a violent manner. Whether it’s training in the ring, or getting into a fight on the streets or at work. I usually use it as a trigger. I get hit, I start to taste metal on my tongue- like a penny or a quarter in your mouth, but liquid and cold.

That’s when the rage kicks in. I taste metal and I lose control. It helps. You see, I’m so lost in a sea of rage when I have that taste in my mouth that it doesn’t matter how hurt I am, I don’t feel anything. I lose control to the point that I can’t see.
