These 22 original poems, or perhaps in some cases, "meditations", have been composed specifically to achieve the objectives of Developmental Bibliotherapy. Both youths and adults are prompted into a meditative self-awareness that encompasses a range of emotions, feelings, and moods. Their thought content is drawn to facilitate an enhanced awareness and contemplation of the processes of personal growth and the search for meaning.
