You can quit smoking if you really want to.
Many people have a hard time with smoking. I’m not talking about those few extreme cases that can smoke one or two cigarettes during the hard times, such as starting a new job, intense stress or sadness. Those people don’t worry about having to quit. For whatever reason, they were born without the need to smoke programmed into their bodies. I’m not one of them and most other people are not too. I’m talking about those, like me, who started smoking, for whatever reason, and keep smoking on a regular basis and when they try to stop, they find that they can’t quit.
I remember the chest pain and mental suffering and the emotionally powerful need to smoke. I could even feel the physical need to smoke coming from my body even as I wished to stop. Some say, it’s an overwhelming drive that rivals a heroin addiction. But even though quitting cigarettes was the hardest habit I ever kicked, I was able to do it and so can you.
You can control your own mind and body with practice and do the most natural things, breathe, eat, drink, have sex etc… and enjoy life without the constant need for a cigarette. Whatever past reason led you to smoke no longer serves your higher interest. Follow my journey and see if it leads you to kicking the habit for good.
