I am a 34 year old single lady who acquired a multi-million debt from a business failure abroad. I have always been careless in my spending. I was the type who was willing to go in debts to please the people I love and care about. Regrets too late, I lost everything to wake up to and see the importance of savings. Savings have helped me pay off my debts one by one. I worry that those who are fresh from the universities are not mindful of how much they can save early on. To help them avoid my incomprehensibly sad fate, I am sharing savings style that they can do right from when they graduate. I have saved about Php 148,994.75 or USD 2,830.89 from the last four years that I am battered, broke and bent. I have known a person who never touched his payroll ATM for three years now, because he does not see the need to. He is lucky to have parents who still provide for him, but instead of spending the money over nothing, he is saving it. Imagine how much he has in the bank? Just Php 900,000.00 or USD 17,100.00 only!
